District Level Vatsalya Mela – 2025 Held.

Khordha :- (Subha khabar )In collaboration with the Ministry of Women & Child Development Dept.& the District Child Protection Unit, the District Level Vatsalya Mela-2025′ was held at Jayee Rajguru Town Hall, Khordha under the patronage of District Child Protection Officer, Ms. Banishree Pattnaik. District Magistrate. Collector, Mr. Chanchala Rana attended the mela as the chief guest & in his speech he said that girls of all castes & religions are given priority.

Therefore, in khordha district, girls who study well or have secured more than 60 percent marks are included in the Mission Vatsalya Mela on priority basis & the officials have directed to work responsibly for their health, education & overall development & make such an innovative scheme of the government a reality. During the recent Covid-19, those who lost their parents or the earning members of the family, at that time the Central Governmen launched the scheme through which orphan students can join the mainstream of society through their intelligence & smart power & turn their dreams into reality to build a better future.

He said that the success of the mela can be achieved by coordinating with parents, teachers, students & all departments to achieve 100 percent success for Mission Vatsalya in Khordha district. He said that the mela will be successful.In Every six months, the progress of students in their education, health & spiritual development will be measured through this mela.Those who have scored more than 60 percent marks will be included in this scheme.Therefore,  Collector, Mr.Rana  encouraged every student to show their commitment to include themselves in this scheme. Dipali Das, Pinki Singh, Subhalakshmi Dalai, Maheswar Giri, who have scored more than 60 percent marks in the +2 examination & Jamuna Nayak,Sibani Nayak, Sriman Rabindra, Rashmita Hembram, Barsha Priyadarshini, N. Ganesh, Sabitri Mallick, Soumya R.Mohanty, who have scored more than 60 % marks  in the HSC/CBSE exams, were given ₹4,000 each to strengthen this scheme & wished a bright future for all children.Two successful beneficiaries of the scheme, Debsmita Hota & Chinmayee Bisoi, shared their inspiring experiences.On the occasions the guests of honor were  President Child Welfare Committee Ranjita Panda, District Social Security Officer Dilip Kumar Hial, Additional District Social Welfare Officer, Susama Mohanty,UNICEF, Advisor Ghasirama Panda spoke about the various aspects of this  mission Vatsalya Yojana.

In the second phase of the mela, the chief guest MLA,Khordha,Prasanta Kumar Jagdev, told the students to prepare themselves to take maximum benefit of such an innovative scheme of the government.The guest of honor, ADM (Administration), Pratap Chandra Beura, discussed in detail the main objectives and goals of organizing the Vatsalya Yojana.In this mela, Khordha, Banpur, Begunia, Chilka, Tangi, Bolgarh including 6 blocks Mission Vatsalya Cards were distributed at this mela.Among others, DI & PRO, Laxman Kumar Behera,officers & employees of the DCPO office, CDPO,parents, students, girls, Juvenile Justice Board members,  media representatives were present.
