Khordha-22/10-In a joint operation conducted by Banapur Police and Excise Station, Balugaon, a major crackdown was carried out against illicit liquor trade at village Kotuala, Brahmapada under Banapur PS jurisdiction.
During the raid, enforcement teams seized and destroyed 𝟭𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬+𝗞𝗴 of Mahula Pocho and 𝟭,𝟴𝟮𝟬 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 of illicitly distilled (ID) liquor on the spot.
The operation aimed at curbing the illegal manufacture and sale of country liquor, which poses serious health hazards and affects social harmony.
Khordha Police reiterates its commitment to maintaining a liquor-free and law-abiding society, and such joint drives will continue in the coming days.
