BJP Krushak Morcha State President Demands Action Against Black Marketers Along with Equitable Distribution of Fertilizers

Khordha :- A delegation led by BJP Krushak Morcha State President Maheshwar Sahu held discussions with Khordha Chief District Agriculture Officer(CDAO) Rabi Narayan Senapati for equitable distribution of fertilizers to farmers in the district for Kharif paddy cultivation.
This year, 7 thousand metric tons of urea fertilizer was required for Kharif paddy cultivation, but so far 9 thousand 303 metric tons of fertilizer has been received. 2 thousand metric tons of DAP fertilizer was required, but 3 thousand 6 hundred metric tons of fertilizer has been received. 3 thousand 2 hundred metric tons of MPK fertilizer was required, but 5 thousand 546 metric tons of fertilizer has been received. 8 hundred thousand metric tons of MOP fertilizer was required, but 2 thousand 95 metric tons have been received. BJP Krushak Morcha State President Maheshwar Sahu advised the CDAO of khordha district to meet the needs of farmers by importing fertilizer on a war footing. In khordha district, the district administration has made extensive arrangements for the orderly distribution of fertilizer to farmers through 38 wholesalers, 198 government-approved dealers and 112 cooperative societies. Mr.Sahu has warned that exemplary action will be taken against those who disrupt the smooth distribution of fertilizer to farmers.While the government has provided more than the required amount of fertilizer to khordha district, some dishonest dealers are conspiring to defame the government. Against three dealers who resorted to disorderly and unfair means in the distribution of fertilizer in Khordha district were taken disciplinary action against him. During this discussion, Krushak Morcha State General Secretary Upendra Bhanja, State Secretary Prasanta Kumar Swain, State Coordinator Gobinda Chandra Pradhan, Puri District Krushak Morcha President Ajaya Kumar Pradhan, State Executive Committee Member Siba Prasad Mishra, Kelu Charan Jagdev, Pratap Chandra Mohapatra, Pratap Pradhan, Maheshwar Routray, Kishore Martha, Akshay Uday Singh, and many senior leaders were present.
