Khordha District Contractors Association submits memorandum to the Collector in several issues.

Khordha:-6/3-The State Contractors Association has been on a strike for 15 days on Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar. As a result, all construction work in the state has come to a stand still. Starting from road construction to drain and building work has completely stopped.

As per the decision of the State Contractors Association, a memorandum has been submitted to the Collector, khordha today and protest infront of the collectorate.In this regard, hundreds of contractors from the district came in a peaceful procession on behalf of the Khordha Contractors Association and raised various slogans in front of the Collector’s office. The main demand from the association was for immediate withdrawal of the negative bid circular.

In the presence of senior members of the association, Surendra pradhan , Pradeep Mishra, Prakash Ransingh, Rabindra Routray ,Karunakar Rout, a memorandum containing 8 points of demand was presented to the Collector address to the Chief Minister of Odisha.A large number of contractors including contractors Bijay Biswal, Rashmi Ranjan Baliarsingh, Rajesh Kumar Pradhan, Suvakant Mohapatra, Rehman Khan, Pujesh Pradhan, Deepak Kumar Mohanty were present.
