Khordha:- The 15th foundation day of monthly magazine ‘Amarisatya’ published from Khordha was held at the Maitri Bhawan premises of PN Autonomous College under the chairmanship of Dr.Prasanna Kumar Jena, Editor of Amarisatya. Maj.Khirod Prasad Mohanty expressed his opinion that the magazine has been continuously published for fifteen years due to the goodwill and cooperation of the readers.Dr.Prahallad Nayak, former Director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, gave a comparative account between astronomy and modern science. Subhash Chandra Satapathy, a renowne hbd literary figure and recipient of the Kendra Sahitya Academy Award, was the chief guest and said that value-based magazines have always been important. Giving the example of a value magazine published from rural Assam, he expressed the hope that the educational value magazine Amarisatya will gain wide circulation as it is being sold widely. The guest of honor, Dr.Dipti Mayee Mohanty, Chairman of Aryavarta Ancient Academy, said that Amarisatya magazine is related to human values.The guest of honor, Dr.Bishnu Charan Sahu, said that children can become good human beings in the future through high-quality education and moral education in educational institutions. Amarisatya is a magazine that is absolutely necessary for children.The guest of honor, Dr.Prasanna Kumar Mahapatra, former professor of Salepur College, explained the truth of the soul and the impermanence of the body and said that good deeds of a person are always commendable.
On behalf of Amarisatya, literary researcher Trilochan Mohapatra was awarded the ‘Amarisatya Samman’, renowned columnist and novelist Sunil Bose was awarded the ‘Amarisatya Saraswat Samman’ and musician Bichitrananda Shasmal was awarded the ‘Dr.Dhaneshwar Sahu Natya Samman’. On this occasion, the books ‘Kulapradeep Raghu’ by Pandit Ramakant Mishra and ‘Ahimsamar Pratik Bapu’ by Jawaharlal Subuddhi were released.
