Training on Farmer Registration for Procurement of Paddy Kharif-2025 Held

Khordha-19/7-Registration of farmers for the ongoing 2025 Kharif crop will start from 19th of this month at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society level.Farmer registration will be done as per completely new guidelines in which all farmers can register their names for paddy sale afresh.For registration, farmers will undergo Aadhaar verification through e-Kyc and the proceeds from the sale of paddy will be transferred to the farmer’s Aadhar linked bank account.The registration will start from 19th July and will continue till 20th August. A receipt will be given to the registered farmers in which the amount of land given by the farmer will be mentioned.Training for farmers on paddy procurement particularly for the kharif crop, focused on registration and related processes.This training is essential for ensuing smooth and transparent paddy procurement operations. It covers aspects like mandatory registration, land details verification and utilization of online systems.Training has been imparted to PACS Secretary and data entry operators for registration on 18.07.2025.In the said training camp, Deputy Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies Mrs. Alaknanda Jena, Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Khordha, Bhagwat Marandi, Additional Civil Supply Officer, Jayanta Kumar Das along with Trainer Rashmit Kumar were present and advised all the farmers to complete the registration within the specified time limit.In this training camp, Khordha Block Kaipadar Co-operative Society, Secretary, Jhaja Samantray, Biswanath Maharana, Khordha & PalatotaPada, Nityananda Dash, RMC, Balugaon,Secretary, Anil Kumar Rout, Jyotirmayee Lenka, Sagarika Parida, Suchismita Sahu, Kartik Pradhan,Subash Parida, Rohit Pattnaik, Bibhuti Senapati,Budhi Baman Biswal were prominently present.
