Khurda:-A detailed discussion was held in the conference hall of collectorate khordha for 44 additional new poling station in various assembly constituencies of khordha district. Additional District Magistrate, Khordha (Administration) Pratap Chandra Beura, ADM (Revenue) Safalya Mandit Pradhan, ADM, Bhubaneswar,Rudra Narayan Mohanty took prominent part in this discussion.111 Jayadev Assembly Constituency, 112 Bhubaneswar Central, 113 Bhubaneswar Central, 114 Bhubaneswar Ekram, 115 Jatni, 116 Begunia, 117 Khordha and 118 Chilika Assembly Constituencies out of which new polling stations are planned to be opened were discussed with the representatives of various political parties. Proposals from the Electoral Registration Officers of all Assembly Constituencies are discussed with the representatives of the political parties to be recommended to the Election Commission. The political leaders were advised to pay attention to the appointment of the new political BLO.The new polling stations include two booths in 113 Bhubaneswar North constituency, four in 116 Begunia assembly constituency, twenty in 117 Khordha assembly constituency and eighteen in 118 Chilika assembly constituency. Adding these additional 44 polling station, the final number of polling station in khordha district will now be 2425. The meeting was attended by 112 Assembly Constituency Electoral Registration Officer Dhananjaya Mohanty, 113 Assembly Constituency Electoral Registration Officer Manmath Kumar Nayak, Deputy Collector, Rajesh Kumar Mohanty, Deputy Collector, Election,Manoj Kumar Senapati, DI & PRO,Khordha,Laxman Kumar Behera, all senior and junior assistants engaged in the election duty, while Prasanta Kumar Ransingh of Aam Aadmi Party, Soumya Patnaik of Indian National Congress, Badri Narayan Dash of BJP and Hemant Kumar Gochayat of the Biju Janata Dal were participated the event.
