Anchalika Mining Action Committee Unhappy With the Auction Price of Kalinga Black Stone Quarry Being Higher Than the Target

Khordha:- -The Anchalika Mining Action Committee has expressed its dissatisfaction with the auction price of kalinga black stone quarry in the Tapang area near Khordha being higher than the target.In a press conference held at the Anchalika Crusher Owners Association, Office,Tapang, the Association’s Working President, Prakash Chandra Samantraya said that earlier it was 170 rupees per cubic meter, while the Directorate of Mines has increased the price of “A”, “B”, “C” mines of Kalinga black stone quarry by more than the target.Which is 354 rupees + 130 and as per the government’s policy, it has been increased to 500 rupees per cubic meter, while the price of Tangeni black stone quarry is 170 rupees per cubic meter according to the announcement of the same Directorate of Mines.

Therefore, the Anchalika Mining Action Committee has requested the state government to withdraw the increased target price of kalinga black stone quarry and keep the previous price of ₹170 per cubic meter.

The committee has requested all the members who participated in the auction of the said quarry that if the auction is held at an increased price, the 376 crushers in Tapang and its surrounding areas will not be able to operate at an increased price and the unemployment rate in the region will increase significantly and the financial condition of the crusher owners, who directly and indirectly depend on the crusher industry will be in danger.

Therefore, the people who participated in the auction are requested to contact the Anchalika Mining Action Committee and present their demands to the state government to withdraw the increased price.The Committee will strongly oppose any individual or organization who takes an auction at an increased price, said t
