CBDC Awarness Cum Registration Camp of Digital Rupee held in Khordha

Khordha–(Subha Khabar)–Adding another milestone to the remarkable revolution of Digital India, Regional Business Office, Khordha State Bank of India has organized a Central Bank of Digital Currency(CBDC) awarness camp at khordha with an objective to promote awarness & adoption of India’s digital currency and to enhance digital financial awarness and security among the public. the e-Digital Rupee, launched by Reserve Bank of India.This would involve explaining how it differs from other digital payment system like UPI and how it can be used for various transactions.Overall, the goal of a CBDC awarness camp in odisha would be empower citizens with the knowledge and understanding they need to confidently participate in the digital economy. The event witnessed financial inclusion and wavering women empowerment, when about 300 SUBHADRA beneficiaries have participated whole heatedly in the amazing event along with all other participants.The guest of the occasions enriching the event were Mr. Dinesh Kumar Purohit, CGM, TB solution and Special project dept.CC), Mr. Shyam Prasad Ankala, DGM TB solution and special project dept. CC, from Mumbai, Mr.Susanta Kumar Das, DGM D & TB, LHO, Bhubaneswar, Mr.Bhagat Behera, Regional Manager, Khordha, who have not only created awarness among the public but also sensitized the essence of e-Rupee. SBI is committed to support the RBI’s vision of a cashless economy and actively organising such camp across India to ensure inclusive growth and digital literacy.
