Khordha:- (Subha khabar)-A young artist from Khordha Sai Sambit Patnaik, has crafted chariots on the occasions of the Ratha Yatra here for Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra & Lord Jagannath.
Sai Sambit Pattnaik, a Class-IV student from Lokeswarpur village near Khordha used waste paper & cardboards to craft these chariots.
He has worked hard for fifteen days & made this chariot with his own efforts using paper & cardboard. Since childhood, Sai Sambit Pattnaik, who has deep faith in God, especially Lord Jagannath has built this chariot at home before the Rath Yatra. After worshipping Lord Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra & Lord Jagannath on the chariot, he himself pulled it on the streets, creating a religious atmosphere & a large number of people appreciated it.As a brilliant student, he has also become a favorite of teachers & friends in school.
Since childhood, he has been interested in building various projects with his own knowledge & skills. Sai Sambit has said that he will become an engineer in the future. His elder mother Smita Patnaik, mother Soudamini Patnaik & sister Soumya Somlika Patnaik helped him in building this chariot at home.
