Odisha Rajaswa Amala Sangha  Decides to Protest Against Ten-Point Demands

Khordha:- (Subha Khabar)In accordance with the decision of the Odisha Rajaswa Amala Sangha, all the revenue clerks working in khordha district have raised their voices against the state government’s intransigence towards fulfilling the ten-point demands and have protested by wearing black badges from 07.07.2025 to 11.07.2025.

If the government does not take any steps towards fulfilling the demands during this period, then they have decided to go on a mass leave from 14.07.2025 for an indefinite period.The above ten-point demands include increasing the basic salary of the revenue clerks working at the district level to Level-2 as per the ORSP-2017 rules, creation of new posts,reorganization of posts, residency period of junior revenue assistants to be reduced from 6 years to 4 years, merger of senior revenue assistant and ASO posts to be made into ASO posts only, health insurance up to ₹20 lakh per annum to all government employees and their family members working in the state,complete abolition of the rules of the rehabilitation scheme implemented in year 2020, re-introduction of the rules implemented in 1990, 100% promotion of revenue employees working at the district level to the Odisha Revenue Service posts, LRMS User IDs to be provided to the Revenue assistants working there to expedite various revenue related matters in tahasil offices.

There are demands such as reforms in all functions of the Revenue Department, provision of entry-level training to improve the skills of newly recruited revenue assistants, abolition of the new pension scheme and inclusion of all government employees in the old pension scheme etc.
