Khordha — – State Bank of India conducted a Financial Inclusion(FI)awarness camp at Badpokharia & Olasingh GP, of Tangi Block under khordha district.This initiative is part of a nationwide three month financial inclusion campaign launched by Dept.of Financial Services on July-1 with the goal of saturating financial inclusion schemes at the grampanchayat & urban local body levels in all districts.

.The chief guests of the event were Shiris Chandra Murmu, Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai, Regional Director(RBI)BBSR, Dr. Sarada Prasanna Mohanty, Chief General Manager, Regional Head Office, State Bank of India, Bhubaneswar, A.D. Ratna Teja, Gautam Patra, Chief General Manager, UCO Bank, Odisha,Mrs. Anita Pattnaik, General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Bhubaneswar, Ms.Renu Sethy, Sarpancha, Badpokharia Gram Panchayat & Ms. Shubha Darshini Bhola, Sarpancha, Olasingh Gram Panchayat were present.In the meeting discussed in detail about social security schemes.

The public was thoroughly informed about how to do Re-KYC in old bank accounts, reuse of dormant accounts, how to get back the outstanding deposits, grievances redressal mechanism & digital banking frauds & precautions to be taken etc. Bhagat Behera, Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Khordha, delivered the welcome speech and explained the Bank Ombudsman to the beneficiaries present. Harishankar Tripathy conducted the meeting.Large number of people were participated in this awarness camp.
