Uttarakhand : – A horrific road accident has taken place on a hilly road in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. A passenger bus has fallen into the flowing Alaknanda river. 11 passengers are missing. One of them has been rescued dead. There were a total of 18 passengers in the bus. On receiving information, the police and the State Disaster Response Force have reached the spot. So far, 7 bus passengers have been rescued alive.
It has been reported that the bus was traveling on the upper footpath parallel to the river. At that time, the driver lost control. After this, it fell into the Alaknanda river. On receiving information, the police and the Disaster Response Force reached the spot. The injured have been rescued and admitted to the local hospital. Along with the police, local administrative officials have also reached the spot and are monitoring it. They have warned against spreading unnecessary rumors. Several photos of the incident have been released, showing the injured being pulled from the riverbed by forming a human chain.
