International Yoga Day Celebrated in Khordha.

Khurda:- (Subha khabar)International Yoga Day was celebrated at Haveli Ground, Khordha with the joint support of khordha District Administration, Excise & Sports Dept. under the chairmanship of Collector, Khordha, Mr. Chanchal Rana.

On this occasions MLA, Khordha Prasanta Kumar Jagdev was the chief guest.In his speech,he said that “If you consider yoga as a part of your life, practice yoga, your physical, intellectual & spiritual development will increase & everyone will live a healthy, happy, disease-free life & become a pillar in the formation of a developed Odisha & a developed India.” Collector, Mr.Chanchala Rana said in his speech,”Yoga should be a part of everyone’s daily life. Through the practice of yoga, the body is purified & free from diseases. The mind is sharpened & a large-scale awakening of consciousness is created which is “for one earth, one health” is a huge need in modern civilization & if the people adopt yoga, a beautiful world can be imagined.On this International Yoga Day,SP, Khordha, Sagarika Nath,DFO, Lade Gajanan Dayanand, ADM (Administration) Pratap Chandra Beura,Zilla Parishad Chief Development & Executive Officer, Jyoti Shankar Sahu, Excise Superintendent, Khordha Sumati Tripathy,Excise Superintendent, BBSR, Debasish Patel, Chief District Agriculture Officer, Rabi Narayan Senapati, Deputy Collector(Emergency) Sritapa Mishra, Pradhan Tuliama, Assistant Collector(Grievances) Bhubaneswar Kanhar, District Panchayat Officer, Syamalendu Nayak, District Sports Officer, Gitanjali Panda, DI &PRO, Laxman Kumar Behera, District Social Welfare Officer, Kusum Kumari Praharaj,BDO, Khordha, Khirabdi Tanaya Sahu, District Culture Officer, Chaudhary Aurobinda Das were present while yoga gurus from Patanjali Yoga Samiti Purna Chandra Nayak, Gaurang Chandra Mandal, Lalita Swain, Bijaya Kumar Mohanty, Nagen Champati, Pratap Kumar Sahu, Kabita Harichandan, Babita Chaudhary, Durga Prasad Chaudhary among others provided yoga training.In this Yoga camp intellectuals, sportspersons, students, media representatives, officers & employees of various offices,Officers & Staffs of Excise Dept. were participated.
