Model Police Seized 20 Grams Brown Sugar & Arrest

Khordha -20/06–On receipt of credible information as per the direction of SP, Khordha, Ms.Sagarika Nath, under the supervision of SDPO, Khordha Nihar Ranjan Pradhan & IIC, Khordha Model PS, Insp.Sanjaya Nayak formed a team headed by Sasmita Behera & Model PS, staffs proceeded to the alleged location, Haveli Ground, Khordha & apprehended 5 persons & seized 20 grams of brown sugar, cash₹1300,five nos of mobile phone & four nos of motorcycle from their possession. The seized brown sugar worth around ₹ 2 lakhs. The arrested person’s were identified as Ganesh Pradhan (35)Vill-Shree Vihar, Khordha, Bikash Behera (25) Village-Mendhasal, Nabaghana Jena(41)Village-Mukundaprasad, Khordha, Sarbeswar Pradhan (29) Village-Gada Khordha, Maharuddin Khan(45) village-Mukundaprasad, Khordha.The police official said that this operation is a testament to our relentless commitment to eradicating drug networks. Our dedicated team has worked meticulously to intercept criminal activities & ensure that those involved face the full weight of the law. We will persist in protecting public safety & urge citizens to come forward with any information that may aid our investigation. The suspect’s have been taken into the custody & registered a case vide Khordha Model PS, Case no-259/dtd.20.06.2025,U/s-21(b)/29 NDPS Act & forwarding to the judicial court of khordha.
