Khordha:- (Subha khabar)Collector Chanchala Rana flagged off the awareness Ratha prepared by District Excise Dept. Khordha at the premise’s of collectorate, to prevent the effects of drug use & smuggling of drugs.The program was attended by ADM (Administration) Pratap Chandra Beura, ADM (Revenue) Safalya Mandit Pradhan, Zilla Parishad Chief Development & Executive Officer, Jyoti Shankar Sahu, Excise Superintendent, Khordha Ms.Sumati Tripathy along with officers, employees of the Collector’s office & the Excise Dept.The said awareness Ratha was moved all the block & panchayat headquarters, village markets & crowded places of the entire district to the effects of drug abuse, prevent drug smuggling & awareness messages will be spread from house to house.
Collector, Mr. Rana has announced that this program will continue in the district till June-26th.Collector, Mr.Rana has directed the Enforcement Team of the Excise Dept. to continue the campaign against drug smuggling & the awareness program among the public.To expand the awareness program, all the departments, students,anganwadi workers, ASHA Didi, voluntary organizations, youth groups, mission shakti members, public & media representatives have all continued their efforts to create a healthy, peaceful, progressive society & make Khordha district completely drug-free.
