Khordha-: – (Subha khabar)Police seized 258 grams of brown sugar worth around ₹25 lakhs & arrested two persons from Chhanagiri Chhaka under Jankia PS area in khordha district.
The arrested person’s were identified as Rakesh Pattnaik(20) & Suryakanta Nayak(22) both are the resident of Bhaliabadi in Khordha town were intercepted following a tip-off received by police about the movement of the drugs peddler on a Blue Colour Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle. Acting swiftly Sub-Inispector Tusar Kanta Parida & his team stopped the vehicle on the National Highway at around -7 A.M & recovered the contraband. In a press meet at District Police Office, Khordha, SP,Ms. Sagarika Nath, said that ” the arrests are part of the state govt.intensified drive against drugs trafficking under the mission of ” Ama Sankalpa, Nisha Nuhen Jibana” launched by CM, Mohan Charan Majhi on May-31.This operation is a testament to our relentless commitment to eradicating drug networks.

The suspect’s have been taken into the custody & forwarding to the judicial court of khordha.
