Khordha–12/10-Continuing its sustained drive against illegal firecracker trade to ensure a safe and peaceful festive season, Baghamari Police of Khordha District has busted major case.During the operation, police seized over 225 kg of illegal firecrackers worth approximately ₹2 lakhs. The seized items were stored and intended for unauthorized sale ahead of the festive period.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend others involved in the illegal supply chain.
Khordha district police is committed to maintaining public safety and preventing incidents arising from the illegal manufacturing, storage, or sale of firecrackers. The public is urged to co-operate by purchasing firecrackers only from licensed vendors and adhering to safety norms.
