Khordha:-The 76th Van Mahostav week was celebrated at Bharatiya Bidya Niketan premises at Podadih under Begunia Block.On this occasion, a sapling planting & awareness program was organized. Headmistress, Sukanti Nayak, said the students to plant a tree in the name of Mother & take care of it.Teacher of the school Jyotsna Mayee Jena expressed the idea of planting a tree on birthday, gifting a tree to others & planting a tree for a healthy environment.Teachers Gitanjali Pradhan, Bishnu Priya Tripathy,Sujata Mohanty, Sujata Panigrahi, Rupashree Behera coordinate the program.Trees are our life & they benefit us a lot without us knowing it, said Teacher Bharati Praharaj.
All the students of the school participated in this sapling planting program.While old student Rudra Narayan Mohapatra participated in this program, the school’s headmaster Sukanti Nayak said that old students will participate in all the programs in the coming days.At the end of the program teacher Monalisa Pattnaik gave the vote of thanks.
