Khordha:- (Subha Khabar)The Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannath was celebrated with great pomp in Lokeswarpur near Khordha. Bhajans & chants were performed every evening for eight days.Today, after all the rituals & chants of Mahaprabhu were completed, the Chaturdha idol was taken out in a chariot & the chariot procession began.The devotees pulled the chariot for three kilometers. Keeping in mind the large gathering of devotees, police were deployed by Khordha Model PS, to maintain law &order situation.
With the co-operation of the members of the Rath Yatra Management Committee, Ambika Prasad Das, Ramesh Muduli, Kalia, Sina, Kuna, Prafulla, the Bahuda Yatra ended peacefully.
